LUCY BEAS
We started farming our own oysters, our Lucy Beas, in June 2022 with leases in Topsail and Stump Sounds. We've expanded our shellfish operation by harvesting wild mussels and oysters, and farming clams as well. Our Lucy Bea oysters honor some of the things we love most: our saltwater-loving dogs, Lucy and Bea; the Wilmington waterways; and supplying delicious locally-farmed oysters to our community. Get them half price on the half shell Wednesday - Friday from 5-6pm.
FISHING
In addition to starting the oyster farm, we have also obtained our commercial fishing and dealer’s licenses for Rx, meaning we are officially able to serve you fish that we catch and spear ourselves. We are predominantly going after underutilized species and targeting lionfish: an invasive but delicious species that are destroying our reefs and decimating our local fish populations, like grouper and snapper. Hogfish is another favorite of ours to target!
